Spring 2026: A Kitchen Workshop
We’re opening the doors to the BDQ kitchen for three afternoons this spring. If you want to get into fermentation, there’s no better place to start - yeast and fermentation are central to everything we do. Combine that with a love of wood fire and local produce and you’ll have a pretty good idea of what we’re all about.
These aren't formal "classes"—they’re hands-on workshops, working around the huge marble kitchen table, using the wood fires. I’ll share what I’ve learnt over the last decades and why we do things here, from running the wood-fire to the fermentation shelf.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a cook looking to troubleshoot a flat dough or a festering jar, come join us.
